Fetishes
of Mine
Among
the many, many things I enjoy is sculpture. I created these guys a few years ago with a papier mache mash. You
can see the "pitting" in the faces. Unfortunately, it's from little bugs that also really enjoyed them. (The
mash mixture is in part, made of flour, glue and paper). I am determined to figure out a recipe that will not attract
bugs. In the meantime, enjoy these pictures. Scroll down through the whole page. It's under construction,
so please bear with me. I'm very excited about adding this page.

My two
guys, just hangin'. They crack me up. While they're being created, I never know what they want to be. I
let them "tell me" who they will be and I just "watch" as they "become."

"Mi'
Lady." It's unusual that I don't have names for these guys yet. Although I do refer to them as
my "Ugly Heads." Can you tell my inspiration is Monty Python's Terry Gilliam??? LOVE Monty Python!!
Terry was the only American in the group. He was "Patsy" in The Holy Grail who smacked the empty coconut
shells together for the horse running sound effects. Hysterical!

By the
way, she's obviously not done. The top of her head is not yet painted. The plan is to have these guys fully formed,
with a body and probably set up with some sort of scene, knowing me. I sort of see her with a mop, another character
I love is in the beginning/end credits of the Carol Burnett show, the cartoon of her mopping and scratching that we all can
relate to.

Fetishes of Mine. (lol--some)
Working on my site.
Being alone---sometimes. Creating. Being in my "mode." Creating while I'm driving and doing
dishes and laundry. People who are bored absolutely perplex me. Hematite beads from Michaels because they are
magnetic and I have them in my coat pocket and I play with them while I'm standing in line. "Laugh In." Lilly Tomlin is awesome and so is Goldie
Hawn. Being Catholic and the 10 Commandments. MUSEUMS.
Thrilling my customers. MONTY PYTHON!
Fabric Remnants. "Classic" Alternative Music from the 70's -
90's. From Blondie's "Rapture" on....Parallel Lines (Blonde Album, 1979). Books on CD. Proper
grammar. Call me on it, too, if you see errors. On
to more pics of my creations.... hope you're enjoying them.

piece I'm working on for Andrea, my bride-to-be. (October, 2011 is fast approaching). Fetish: Tweeting. Tweeted
this page last night.

More

free to Blog
In and
give me a suggestion.
