Clutches, "Bagettes" & Totes (new!) Purses, too.
|
|
Yes, Purses, too. (Again, I make them....) Remember, I am not a chain store. My products do not come ready made,
shipped in from other countries, I am not a franchise. I've made everything you see on this site and I love what I do
and my expertise can match any idea that you have seen in catalogs. (Victorian Trading magazine -
I keep one on hand for a reference of ideas. Sure, I love their merchandise, too, but I can assure you that the quality
(of their pieces) will not match their prices). And they will not give you the variations upon request that I
can so readily offer.

| Gabriella |
|
Here is my latest Tote!! "Gabriella" She is fully
lined with a very soft, durable and waterproof material. (Waterproof -- so that you can carry your wet boots and umbrella
or if your drink spills). Outside is Scotchgarded, of course. I just don't understand the need to spend so much money on those
popular name brand purses...seriously, why???? Gabriella
is $25

| The Flower Bag |
"Flower Bag." The stripes of the fabric
below the flowers look as if they could be the stem of the flower. The green material on the top of the tote and the handle
are made of a bumpy textured material and very durable but soft. I use drapery and upholstry materials to create these.
I love to use an unusual medium in my creations. ((Handle: 5" deep. Bag: FULL length: 19" with handle. Bag: 14.5" x 15.5"
fully extended width)) The Flower Bag, $25

The color of
the flower in this pic is much more accurate (below). The bugundy of the petals and the deep, rich brown of the coiled
center work beautifully together. This flower was made before I created the bag and she was patiently sitting nearby,
knowing her purpose. And she was right. That's usually how things come together around here.

"Bagette" is my version of the clutch. (A little bag).

|
| Priscilla "Bagette" |
Priscilla Bagette. My
version of the clutch. The material just begs to be touched. The vintage polkadotted rosette sits in the corner
with leaves made of a deep brown silk ribbon. Tassel is attached to the zipper. The lining is a soft cotton, paisley
pattern. 9"x6" $15

"Burma Bagette."
Such a sweet little bagette. Great for traveling light, grab a few things and go. She is ~7" x 5". Great texture
and popping mix of colors. She snaps closed to secure your things. I just bought a great chain for a handle. (Not on yet).
$20
A handle could, most certainly, be added to this "Bagette." That
is purposefully left "open" as an option. I welcome your ideas!

Purses....

|
| Merrissa - tapestry purse |
The handle is alternately pinched/sewn along it's length for a more interesting
and fitting look.

The full view of "Merrissa" will be updated by tomorrow...(9/24/11).
There are many changes and updates going on with the site @ the moment - all for the good, I promise. New items, too. Here
is the top view of the purse. The zipper is shown, open, to display the pockets inside. There are 4 pockets inside
that are all either zippered or "Velcroed."

|

|
| Merrissa - side view |
This is the side view of "Merrissa." The tapestry
front is, of course dominantly seen. The sides have similar colors but the texture, weight and "pattern" is
overall purposefully different. The purse is not
"stiff," although the fabric does have a stiffening layer embedded into it, it is purposely left to be somewhat pliable. A more pliable purse is more comfortable to carry
under the arm and it is less likely to be in the way if you are in a crowded area and for storage in general. "Merrissa" is
~18" wide x 21" high including the handle. Depth is ~6". $50

This purse is different than the one above....it has "BLACK
ACCENTS." Sue B, my mom's neighbor saw me finishing
the purse above and loved it. She ordered one that is similar but a little narrower with BLACK ACCENTS instead of brown
and a side pocket. I've also made her a small change purse to go inside and my mom purchased the handkerchief and then
crocheted around it for her. "Alyssa" is 8" tall x 10" wide. $45

The pockets inside are either zippered or Velcro'ed closures and one pocket
is the full width of the purse with no closure. There are 6 pockets inside and one outside. The interior pockets are against
the sides of the purse so that the center "volume" remains open since it is a smaller purse.
|

The little change purse is a must-have. It is adorned with
the same accents as the purse; tassel, button and black trim. Velcro closure. Change purse is $5. (Jamie)

|
| Tammy - trim @ top of bag |

Simple, pretty and just a little bold. The subtlety
of the green tapestry fabric and soft, smooth long handle makes this little purse very easy to take on short trips.
Perfect for a day of quick shopping and into a night out. It snaps closed at the top. It has no pockets so that
the inside is left un-encombered and can hold the entirety of it's volume. "Tammy"
is ~21" long, in her entire length. $15/ea discounts
are available for higher quantites

This is the new
handle I've added to the clutch purse. I finally found the perfect detail to finish this piece. Neat, huh?

Clutch purse. Velvet material. There is a gilded gimp added around the flaps' border. The
flowers are bias-cut silks (hand dyed), satins and organzas. The stems are beaded as are some small areas of the leaves.
The bottom of the purse can be collapsed length wise. Snaps can be added to the bottom to maintain the narrower depth.
Please feel free to let me know how you would like your clutch customized. $45 (7" wide x 6"
high)

Corner details. Pouch
below fits nicely inside this clutch purse.
Small feathers can be added to the design of the purse (pheasant
feathers, actually would match these colors of the velvet background). Handle could be a beaded cord, a leather strap
or even a chain.
